drink alcohol tutorial


Yesterday, i had diner in one of the best French Restaurant of the city, according to me: Le toit gourmand.
At the end of the diner, the owner of the place used to offer one bottle of Armagnac. Of course, We are not supposed to drink all.
Amagnac is a plum liqueur served at the end of the meal to help digestion.

I never noticed, on the back of the bottle, this text in picture on your left.

Here the translation:

"The glass from your hand, warm up 2Cl of Armagnac, not much!

Take the time to ventilate it. Upper alcohol will volatilize to keep the aromatic heart of Armagnac: notes of undergrowth, crystallized fruits, honey, dominatd by plum.

Just before savour, concentrate a certain amount of saliva under your tongue. Take a drop of Armagnac and bathe your lower part of your mouth.

Bring the alliance Saliva/armagnac toward the bottom of your palate. Drink..."

As you can see, it is a tutorial, how to drink Armagnac. Far away from the Vietnamese way to "nhau", drink armagnac have to be done by the rule book.

However, I do not know if you get it, but i don't, i try to follow all steps and the only thing i felt was a very hot sensation going through my throat. No honey, no plum, no "undergrowth" (i do not know what it is and what the hell does it taste?????).

It is a good example of such things that, in my opinion, cannot be handle with a tutorial.
