Something for Christmas

Christmas is coming. I think people have a lot of wishes on Christmas. In Western countries, I know that when you put stocks on your bed, Santa Claus will put a gift on it. So I’d like to introduce to you how to make a Christmas Stocking. You can give it to you little brother or sister, or you can give it to your friend like a gift.
Something you should have:
- Card
- A pencil
- Scissors
- A large piece of felt
- A piece of chalk
- Pins
- Silk embroidery thread
- Needle
- Pinking shears
- Hole punch
- Ribbon or cord
- Glue

Now these are some steps:

Step 1: Create a template
You find a card with color that you like, and you use pen or pencil to draw the shape of stocking on the card. The size of stocking is up to you. After drawing, you cut it out and make a template.

Step 2: Draw on the felt
You can use one felt and fold it in half or two separate pieces. Place the template on the felt and use chalk draw around it like the image below

Step 3: Pin the felt
Use a couple of pins to pin the two pieces of felt together

Step 4: Sew
You sew around the outline of the stock. You should make the first stitch at the top corner a double stitch to make sure that it is strong. Then continue sewing around the outline using a simple running stitch. Sew along the top on both sides for a neat finish

Step 5: Trim
Use a scissors to trim the material, about 1 cm / 0.4 inches away from the stitching.

Step 6: Make a hole
At the top of the stocking, you punch a hole in the corner.

Step 7: Loop the cord
Cut a length of cord and tie a knot in one end. Trim off the excess. Thread the other end through the hole in the stocking and tie it in a knot. Tie both ends together to make a loop.

Step 8: Decorate
Now you can decorate whatever you want. You can glue something that you think it will make your stock more beautiful. Finally, you have stocks for Christmas
I found it on this site below:
Hope that you will have some funny time, and you will enjoy it.
I appreciate when you give me some feedbacks
