I tried to draw the picture of gundam Exia in the anime Gundam 00. It tooked a longtime for me to finish the drawing. I alter the image a bit by adding the partial skirt for the robot because I don't like the original model, but I am not quite sastified with it. However, when I look at the finished drawing, I find it better than the colored model.

You should create outline from the scanned file using Photoshop or Illustrator
- Photoshop: using Magic Wand tool and the Path Window
- Illustrator: using Auto Trace or Pen tool (Pen tool is better but requires much more time)
Anyway, you should clean up the page using other tools...
