Hugo de la Rosa 's website

I found this website when I googled for modern photography. This is the website of Hugo de la Rosa, a Spanish photographer. He used to work in fashion industry.

I like his art work and the style in the website : clear, dark (result in the contrast with images), luxury, modern and images in focus.

This website has a very clear, "well-aired" view and nice arrangement of interactive elements.

As you can see, the position of images and text is nearby together, so the attention of viewer is on the left of the page. But with this arrangement, the page has more free space to "breath", and also, the website become balanced though the main content is put only on the left. In my opinion, the reason is that no matter where the content is put but the attention that you create for your work will be effective visually.

The font look technical, simple, small size, shinny and outstanding.
The effect of the heading text, text turn into white in order of left to right when clicking, is really interesting because it out-stands the heading though the text is small-size.

The background is elegant. It's seem to be a dark grey tone with a bit muddy, smooth and luxury. It absolutely elevates the images by the contrast (most his images is in tone of white).

However, I do not find a button or link to reload the automatic slide of the page after click on those heading. I always have to refresh the page if i want to see the slide. I think it's the inconvenient point of the page.

Do you think this website is cool?
