First of all, I will show you the original image:
I tried to crop the main character out and put her into another background made by me, just white and some other effects such as lighting and sketch, and this is the result:
In the original image, she looks happy with a smile on her face. However, in the edited image, when her smile disappears, she looks really sad and tired. Moreover, the graphic pen effect is really suitable in this case, it makes her sadness become more heavier.The last thing I did in the edited image is the frame. It looks nice, I love it *blush*.

The sketch effect is quite effective and suitable here.
