My first thought was:
Ouah, it should be so difficult to realize, let's try HTML first!
Actually, i loved this website and learnt some basic rules about it. Independently of 3D images which cost an indecent price, colour used on this website are adapted to the product.
Colour is mood and this boat is a luxury boat. The fact that it was expected to be sold 600 000€ is a good proof. Black, white, and gradient of level of grey are used on this website. Pictures unfold smoothly, not too slowly, not too quickly (around 3seconds for each photo). I also appreciate the cross fader transition between its.
The main rule i learnt on this website and i always used for mine in HTML is "no scroll". All information have to be clear with strong key word. All adjective are precise andcarefully chosen. Regardless to the client's monitor size, they are displayed on one only page. There are no long text, pictures talk.
The third pertinent element on this website is the "IONIC" typography. It is fine, thin, it seems that is was written in one line without lift the pen. The typography translates well theway we can imagine the boat has been designed.
The page layout is very simple, the short and simple menu is horizontal. I like horizontal menu, vertical menu always seems endless. The thin line which separate the title from the the menu is a simple and clever way to fill the blank.
To conclude, i think that a website is successfull if the target audience visit all pages without have only one time the idea to check his mail in between. Therefore, we need to put meaningfull information in small amount of place as well as sort informations into an ergonomic and logic menu.I think that this website respect all these precepts and that is the reason why i like it.
