PS practice

I used Render cloud -> Blur -> Distort and Adjustment to create this image.

Candlelight

I didn't create four letters but I took photograph them. In one evening, when my house had power cut, I had to use candle and then I took these pictures. After that, I use PS to make this image.

Happy New Year!

I use black and white as my decisive colors. Four small images at the edge are photograph which I took. Then I cut it and copy it. Finally, it becomes this shape. Quite amazing!

Layout & Color combination

I use five colors to combine. I think they can work together quite well. ^_^

Type exercise

I use materials given by Maddy to practice layout skill. I think its disadvantage is that it has "rivers".

Color combination

These are my favorite colors. I think when I use them to design layout or web, it is quite good.

Cropping PS - Lemonade

I use selection tool to crop these images and use gradient tool to make the background.

Themes

Girls Aloud's theme ( colorful version):

There are some themes I made for my 360 Yahoo blog in last 1 year. I love the band Girls Aloud, that why 3/5 themes of mine are their pictures :").

If you want to design themes like that, it quite easy and I can help you to make one.

All these themes have the size 1200x2000 pixels. You should design the top theme (1200x400) and bottom theme (1200x800) in 2 different files. Then, combine these files into 1 and you will got the themes like this.

I quickly made this interface using only flash... Maybe I'll make it better when I have time and put more graphics in...

[23rd] -:- Flyer for ORGANIC company -:-

This is the flyer I made for ORGANIC company. ORGANIC is a kind of restaurant serving healthy food so I try to make its flyer looks clean, a bit brilliant and a bit luxury. However, this company is an unreal one *lol*, this is a company we imaged and used to write a business plan in BE1 *lol*. Anyway, I also love this work.

I made these 2 logos for some companies [include real and unreal *lol*]. PTS is the main tool to create them. This is the first time I try to work with the white black ground because I think any logos will be more highlighted on the white black ground. Making logo is not the easy work as I think... it takes time too much but I love these results. They are all nice *lol*.

Joel-Peter Witkin

Joel-Peter Witkin was born in 13/09/1939 in Brooklyn, New York City. He is an American photographer. He worked as a war photographer from 1961 to 1964 and became a freelance photographer in 1967.

Some Photos

It's a hard time for me. After moving to a new house, I have no internet access. Everyday in a whole month, just watching TV and sleeping. Poor me!

Before Christmas 2007, I've taken some photos for my friend. We had so many photos but I only post these two because I like them best.

After that, I use photoshop to turned it into black and picture. I thought they would express more feeling in black and white

innovation may not a new information for us. we all learned about it for nearly two semesters. we learned how to innovate in thinking and doing. we must be creative because we are a designer. however, some did it but they just don't know and some didn't did it but they think they did.
it sounds funny but which case are you in is the question.

Anti-smoking Campaign posters

These are my posters that I designed about Anti-smoking campaign... I used black background to impress the user, and transfer my message mainly through the image and the words only support the image. This will give much more impact on the viewer than using such directly slogans like "Stop Smoking" or "Smoking Kills" which are quite often seen. I also kinda like the message "Cigarette smoke contains...." (which I saw on a poster somewhere I didn't remember) since it transfer the idea about the harmness of cigarette smoke indirectly. The first one, I got trouble with making the skull and the cigarette look realistic together... T__T too bad...

And the second one, this time I had a hard time drawing the smoke T__T Sheez...
